Will The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword Be Too Big?

On February 21, 1986, The Legend of Zelda was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System.  Over 25 years later, The Legend of Zelda has grown from a single 8-bit game into a mega franchise.  There have been many new Zelda titles over the years, everything from Majora’s Mask to Spirit Tracks.

You can probably go back and play The Legend of Zelda and beat it in a single day.  However, with the newer 3D versions of Zelda, such a task cannot be accomplished.  If you thought that Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess took a long time to play, then you’ll be surprised to hear that the final Zelda to be released on the Nintendo Wii, Skyward Sword will be the biggest one yet.

There is so much content in the game, that beta testers are having a difficult time getting through the game to make sure that  Zelda game yet, and said that it was no exaggeration.

It has been said that RPG elements have been implemented into the game.  Supposedly, you can upgrade your items as you go along in the game.  However, I must say that this has been done before.  Think about trading up the Kokiri Sword for the Master Sword.  It is uncertain if there is an RPG style of leveling that will be used.

Other mysteries that are left are whether or not we will hear the voice of Link.  So far we’ve only hear him scream if he is falling from a large cliff or if you want to count the poor voice overs done by the Phillips CD-i Zelda games, which Nintendo doesn’t even recognize as real Zelda games.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword should be available just in time for the holidays this year.
